Refunds and Cancellation

This policy explains how to cancel your subscription and when refunds apply.
1. Subscription
A subscription provides access to paid features of the service for the billing period paid for. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel any time from your account. Cancelling does not delete your account. After cancellation:
- You retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period already paid for.
- You will not be charged again.
- You may resubscribe at any time.
3. Refunds
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable. We process refunds in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate charge: the same period was billed more than once due to a payment system error.
- Failed activation: a payment succeeded but the subscription was not activated on our end.
- Unauthorised charge: you did not authorise the charge, subject to investigation.
- As otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
4. How to request a refund
Email hello@falx.in within 7 days of the charge, with:
- The email address registered with your account.
- The approximate date and amount of the charge.
- A short description of the issue.
We respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are issued through our payment partner to your original payment method. The time taken to reach your account depends on your bank and is typically up to 10 business days.
5. Not refundable
- Charges where the request is made after the 7-day window in Section 4, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
- Charges where paid features were used within the billing period and a refund is later requested for that same period.
- A complaint that does not relate to a payment or service-delivery error. Refunds are not issued on the basis of subjective preference or examination outcomes.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first. A direct refund (where applicable) is typically faster than a chargeback dispute.
